    Kick off the festival at the Opening Night Reception with the James Beard Foundation, an extraordinary gathering of culinary talent and prestige. Hosted by the acclaimed Nancy Silverton, James Beard Award winner and Michelin-starred chef, she will be joined by more than 20 acclaimed chefs—James Beard Award winners, nominees, and semifinalists—will present specially crafted bites, perfectly complimented by the premier wines from over 40 distinguished wineries and exceptional offerings from 10+ spirit brands. Set against the stunning backdrop of The Inn at Spanish Bay, this immersive evening transforms every corner into a showcase of culinary artistry, offering a preview of the excellence to unfold throughout the weekend.

Over 40+ renowned chefs gather for a walk-around tasting event, showcasing their signature dishes paired with a wide variety of spirits, wines, and cocktails.   • Seminar – Inside the Bottle: A Deep Dive into J. Schram Blancs
    Date: Sunday, April 13th
    Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Location: The Inn at Spanish Bay – St. Andrews West (17-Mile Drive, Pebble Beach, CA)
    Join Hugh Davies, Vintner & Proprietor of Schramsberg Vineyards, as he leads you through a curated tasting of our J. Schram Blancs. Start with a series of base wines, to experience what a winemaker works with when crafting a master blend, followed by a tasting of J. Schram blend prior to going through its secondary fermentation. Next, you will enjoy a “natural” offering, or  a wine following secondary fermentation but prior to the addition of the final dosage. Finally, savor in a series of delicious finished J. Schram Blancs bottlings, ranging from the current 2015 release to a library offering from the 1997 vintage.
